Who we are

Ihsan is operated by FD Digital (“we”, “us”). The app and this website are published at dailyihsan.com.

What we collect

You can use much of the app without creating an account. If you sign in or use optional tools, we may process:

• Account: email address if you choose email sign-in, plus a user id we generate.
• Profile and program: name, gender, habit choices, onboarding answers, and 66-day program progress.
• Usage: prayer logs, habit logs, Quran bookmarks and progress, duas, dhikr, fasting, gratitude, notes, workouts, and focus sessions.
• Location: approximate location when you allow it, used only for prayer times and Qibla.
• Photos: a baby profile photo if you use the optional baby tracker and grant photo access.
• Health-adjacent data: optional cycle tracking for prayer and fasting guidance. We treat this as sensitive and do not use it for ads.
• Device activity: if you enable the distraction blocker, Apple Screen Time / Device Activity APIs process which apps you choose to limit. That data stays on device except as needed to apply your rules.
• Purchases: subscription status via Superwall and Apple or Google. We do not see your full card number.
• Notifications: a device token if you enable prayer or other reminders.

How we use it

We use this information to run the app, sync progress across devices, send the reminders you enable, process subscriptions, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your spiritual logs or cycle data for advertising.

Processors we use

We use trusted processors who only handle data on our instructions:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and optional cloud sync.
• Superwall — paywall presentation and subscription status.
• Apple and Google — app distribution, in-app purchases, and push notifications.
• Expo — build, updates, and notification delivery.

Retention and your rights

If you create an account, we keep the data you sync until you ask us to delete it or your account is closed. Local-only data stays on your device until you clear the app.

You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing [email protected] from the address on your account. In the European Economic Area and UK you also have rights to object, restrict processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Delete my account

Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my account” from the same email you used to sign in. We will delete your account and synced data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax, fraud, or legal reasons (for example a subscription receipt).

Signing out in Settings does not delete your account. Skipping sign-in during onboarding means we have no cloud account to delete — clear the app from your device to remove local data.

Children

Ihsan is aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change. The date at the top is the latest revision. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
